6 accused of trafficking cocaine in Orillia, Ont.

Six people have been charged in OPL’s drug-trafficking case of OPL.

Shortly after midnight on Friday, officers executed two search warrants at a house on West Street and an apartment on Missauga Street.

Police say eight people were arrested in two houses, of which six have been charged.

Authorities say they also seized cocaine and cash from the residences.

John Blais, 50, from Orillia, Cara Doyle, 27, from Orillia, Kevin Marius, 18, from Oakville, Larry Rendell, 40, from Orillia, Amanda Zimmerman, 28, from Orillia, and a 17-year-old, who can’t do youth. All those enrolled under the Criminal Justice Act were charged with trafficking cocaine and capturing proceeds of crime under $ 5,000.

The five adults were released on Farm 10 undertakings and will appear in court in late June.

The 17-year-old was held for bail hearing, and the two additional people initially arrested were released unconditionally.
