Defense Committee meeting canceled after Tory calls for Tallford to be fired.


The meeting of the House of Commons Defense Committee investigating military sexual misconduct has been canceled on Monday, before Katy Telford was called to testify but the debate was expected to resume.

A notice on the committee’s website stated that the meeting was scheduled to begin at 11 am on Monday with an eastern camera, meaning behind closed doors.

However, before the scheduled time, the notice was updated to call for the cancellation of the meeting.

No date has been set for its return and no reason has been given for canceling it.
