The FBI says officers outside the CIA headquarters in Virginia shot an armed person

Authorities said at least one FBI agent opened fire on an armed man outside CIA headquarters in Virginia on Monday.

The FBI said in a statement, “The suspect was shot and injured after taking the weapon out of his vehicle.”

The unknown suspect was taken to a local hospital and his condition was not immediately known.

The FBI said it was reviewing the incident.

The FBI stated, “The review process is thorough and objective, and is conducted as much as possible under the circumstances.”
