A 41-year-old man has been charged with a hit-and-run involving a fuel truck in Incystil, Ont., On Monday morning.

At approximately 8:40 p.m., officers responded to an accident in the area of ​​County Road 89 and Cedarod 10.

Police say a fuel truck going south was hit by a northbound car that fell into the southbound lane.

According to officials, the suspect vehicle continued northbound without stopping.

Police then found the car on the shoulder of the 10th sideroad and 4th line and the driver was arrested.

According to police, the suspect vehicle sustained extensive damage, while the fuel truck sustained moderate damage.

Christopher Goodeway, 41, Innisfil, was later charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, driving under suspension, careless driving and failing to report an accident.
